January 2017 -  May 2020

New York University Tandon School of Engineering, Brooklyn, NY

Led and instructed a weekly freshman General Engineering lab class of 30 students.

  • Presented lessons and demonstrations related to biomedical, civil engineering, building construction, robotics, and automatic routing using digital logic.

  • Taught students as Prototyping Teaching Assistant for design projects, led complex experiments in bridge construction, boom construction, micro-controller, and sensor prototyping.

  • Collaborated with the development of 3 new laboratory experiments and design projects for the Prototyping department.

  • Trained students on 3D printing, software, Autodesk Fusion 360, and Revit.

PROJECT EXPERIENCE

AUTONOMOUS UNDERWATER VEHICLE

September 2016 – December 2016

New York University Tandon School of Engineering, Brooklyn, NY

  • Completed an autonomous underwater vehicle that was able to perform tasks that imitated real-world situations including data collection from a seismic reader, retrieval of biological specimens, and covering of an oil spill.

  • Co-ordinated on a team that developed an autonomous underwater vehicle using Lego EV3 Mindstorms.

  • Prepared code for the robot operation, testing, and the PowerPoint presentation.

  • Developed and maintained the project schedule in Microsoft Project.

UNDERGRADUATE SEISMIC DESIGN PROPOSAL

September 2018 – March 2019

Earthquake Engineering Research Institute, Brooklyn, NY

  • Designed an architectural floor plan in Revit for the Seismic Design Competition.

  • Co-ordinated on a team that designed, analyzed, and constructed a 5 ft. tall balsa wood structure to withstand an earthquake shake table.

SENIOR DESIGN PROJECT

September 2019 – May 2020

New York University Tandon School of Engineering, Brooklyn, NY

  • Constructed an eight-legged, autonomous jumping robot, capable of jumping up to 40 inches while carrying a small payload.

  • Created a fault tree, testing and evaluation plan, and tolerance study.

  • Managed work of CAD models and drawings in SolidWorks and finite element analysis in ANSYS.
